== Focus ==

In this workshop, tutorials for beginners will be offered as needed. We will discover ways how to profit from SageMath's capabilities. If we identify missing functionality, we will initiate the process to fill these gaps.

We will focus on utilizing SageMath for research in algebra, combinatorics and probability, but other interests are welcome, too.

== Programme ==

There will be no strict schedule. In particular, it is possible to only attend part of the workshop.

 * Saturday, 22.2., 10:00 opening

  * installation
  * lunch
  * introduction to sage
  * quiz

 * Sunday, 23.2., 14:00

  * work on individual interests

 * Monday, 24.2., 10:00

  * the asymptotic ring by Benjamin Hackl
  * multiplying apples and oranges: transparent arithmetic with different data types in SageMath by Daniel Krenn

== Participation and funding ==

Participation is free, please send an email if you are interested in attending.

If you are from Germany and need funding, please let me know so we can sort out possibilities!
